Lucille (Luci) A. Dyke, 83, of Gold Canyon AZ, was welcomed home March 22, 2019, the evening before her 84th birthday, with family by her side.

Luci, daughter of Olamp and Lorena Tourdot, was born, March 23rd, 1935, in our nation’s dairy heartland, Wisconsin.

She married the love of her life Lyle F. Dyke on February 13, 1954. Her forever Valentine, Lyle, preceded his love into eternal life. They are now joyfully reunited.

Luci graduated, class of 1952, from Reedsburg High School, in Reedsburg WI. She also earned a degree in Accounting and Office Administration from Madison Business College.

Luci will be remembered by her family as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister.
She enjoyed country music, card games, boating, camping, traveling, clothes, Lyle’s Gold Canyon Miners softball team, and most of all, spending time with her grandchildren. She was the center of attention at family events and leaves a significant void with her passing.

Luci knew her savior, Jesus Christ, and was a dedicated witness to the Gospel:
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life... For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16

She was an active member of Saint George’s Catholic Church in Apache Junction and worked diligently as a money counter until her passing. Luci gave generously to the Church, but gained so much more in spiritual fulfillment.
Luci is embraced into eternal life by her beloved “forever valentine” (Lyle) and eldest child (Randy). She is survived by her children: Judy (beloved wife of Randy) Dyke, Diana (James) Snider, Monty (Kari) Dyke, Craig (Teresa) Dyke, and Darcie (Dale) Perry; Her grandchildren: Jennifer (great-granddaughter Leah), Kristen, Kelsey, Garrett (great-grandchildren Michael and Gracelynn), Preston, Ryelan, Brittany, Sharon, Gage, and Kendall. She also leaves her beloved siblings, Joan, Ken, Judy, Diane, Sandy, Tommy, Ron, and Janice.
A Rosary will be recited at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, April 5, 2019, with a Funeral Mass in celebration of Luci’s life to follow at 10:30 a.m. at St. George’s Catholic Church 300 East 16th Avenue, Apache Junction, Arizona 85119. A reception will immediately follow the service. A private interment will reunite Luci with Lyle at Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to St. Jude’s Children's Research Hospital.
