Bereavement & Funeral Ministry Training

Are you involved in your Parish Funeral or Bereavement Ministry?

Catholic Cemeteries & Funeral Homes is now accepting registrations for its complimentary, annual training. This three part training has been developed to assist parishes with their bereavmeent and funeral care ministries.  These courses are not intended for those who have experienced a recent loss. The training series will be hosted at St. Francis Catholic Cemetery on the following dates:

Part I    Friday, September 20, 2019            6 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.

               Saturday, September 21, 2019         8 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

Part II   Friday, October 18, 2019                 6 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.

                Saturday, October 19, 2019             8 a.m. - 3 p.m.

Part III  Saturday, November 16, 2019         8 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

All Souls Catholic Cemetery: Mass will be held at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, adjacent to the cemetery at 8:30 a.m.

Flower and Decoration Removal

All flowers are removed from graves four times a year for general clean-up or when the cemetery management determines their appearance is detrimental to the entire cemetery.

St. Francis, Holy Cross and Queen of Heaven: Flowers are generally removed on the second week of January, seven days after Easter, the second week of July, and the first week of October. Dates are subject to change in observance of holidays.

  • 2019: January 7, April 29, July 8, October 7
  • 2020: January 6, April 20, July 6, October 5

Holy Redeemer and All Souls: First Tuesday of each month

Calvary: Seven days after Easter, Memorial Day, 4th of July and Labor Day
